„WE HAVE NEVER BEEN URBAN“
From metrocentrism to the plurality of the urban

The design of the poster for the conference „We have never been urban. From Metrocentrism to the Plurality of the Urban“ makes reference to the content of the event, the small and medium-sized towns, and their cartographic representation with the differently sized, overlapping red circles. Strong contrasts of colour, form and direction reflect the strong contrasts of cities and city types. The combination of geometric shapes and typography makes the graphic strongly reminiscent of posters from the 1920s and 30s.
